My story.txt
Not so linear career path
My passion for creating things started early—arts and crafts class in 8th grade unlocked something in me. Around the same time, my nerdiness kicked in when my brother and I got a Nintendo Super Famicom gaming console, and he started buying Chip & Digit magazine (the tech magazine that felt like a portal to another world). That innate nerdiness stuck with me for life.

Originally from Indore, M.P., India, this tech obsession even took me on a detour through an undergraduate engineering degree. But in parallel, I also did a multimedia bootcamp which finally introduced me to the world of design and everything clicked.
The engineering background turned out to be a secret weapon, it gave me the technical fluency to bridge design and development seamlessly, understanding constraints and possibilities from both sides.
In 2011, I jumped into graphic design, and by 2014, in Mumbai, I was introduced to UX design at a Fractal Ink design consultancy, where I worked on many design projects, including websites, mobile apps, and enterprise software. I even got my first on-site design project as a contract designer for the McKinsey Abu Dhabi team via Fractal Ink, around 2017. (Yes, that happened.)

In september 2022, I moved to savannah, georgia, to pursue a master of arts in service design at scad—where I developed the business and strategic thinking to complement my design and technical skills.

That's when it all came together: I could finally speak three languages fluently—design, tech, and business.
Currently, I'm based in the sunny sf bay area, designing fintech products that help people navigate their financial decisions with clarity and confidence.

Besides work...
I enjoy traveling, hiking, volunteering (part of SDN SF Chapter Organising team), watching movies and series or animes and learning german (ich lerne Deutsch!).
fun fact: I'm currently on a 2300+ days learning streak on duolingo app! / (maybe I'm addicted, but hey, commitment is commitment.)
